Alyssa Conrardy, Principal and Co-Founder

Alyssa is a principal and co-founder at Prosper Strategies, Alyssa Conrardy is on a mission to help nonprofits realize the full potential of strategy so that the nonprofit sector can realize its full potential to change the world.  

Alyssa is recognized as an expert by nonprofits across the country thanks to her ability to lead strategy, fundraising, marketing and communications projects that advance nonprofit missions and drive social change.

She has a strong focus on helping nonprofits use research and data to make sound strategic decisions and transform their operations. Thanks to her background in journalism, she is also highly skilled at weaving together traditional and digital communications, storytelling and data.

When she isn’t busy crafting strategies, building brands and tackling interesting challenges with Prosper Strategies’ nonprofit clients, Alyssa spends her time shaping the perspectives and approaches that drive the firm’s work. Alyssa writes and speaks frequently about the intersection of marketing and social impact, and is a regular columnist for Nonprofit Quarterly. She has also been featured in The Wall Street Journal and PRWeek Magazine.  Alyssa is frequently called upon to train nonprofit professionals at conferences like Upswell, Cause Camp, Classy Collaborative and Boys & Girls Clubs’ national and chapter meetings, and she has served as an advisor and mentor for Impact Engine, Chicago’s social impact accelerator. She sits on the board of the Great Books Foundation.

Prior to launching Prosper Strategies, Alyssa worked with iconic global brands such as got milk?, Yum! Brands, Abbott Labs, CareerBuilder and World Hunger Relief while at global PR firm Weber Shandwick and B2B marketing consultancy Movéo. Alyssa is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Journalism and Mass Communications, where she earned a degree in Journalism & Strategic Communications with a concentration in Cause Marketing.
