Prosper Strategies offers single-issue consulting for a variety of issues that commonly present challenges for nonprofits through what we call Strategic Clarity Sessions. Strategic Clarity Sessions are structured as two half-day virtual strategy intensives scheduled approximately one week apart, where we diagnose a problem together and build a plan for solving it.

Here’s How Strategic Clarity Sessions Work
Strategic Clarity Sessions are designed to help you move from a pressing challenge to a concrete path forward. Across two focused half-day sessions, we help you diagnose what is really going on, build a practical solution, and leave with action steps you can begin taking right away.
Diagnose
We clearly identify the challenge we are solving and why it matters. Then, we dig into what is driving the problem and why it exists.
Solve
Together, we develop a concrete framework or roadmap for measuring your strategic plan, getting your board to fundraise, engaging your stakeholders, diversifying your revenue, or whatever challenge you are up against.
We end the session by establishing concrete action steps you can begin taking right away.
A Strategic Clarity Session is designed to help you solve one urgent strategic challenge.
This includes two half-day sessions, conducted virtually. You will walk away with a solution to your challenge in hand and an action plan for making it happen.

What should we prepare ahead of the sessions?
It depends on the issue. Once you book, we'll let you know if there's anything we'd like to review in advance and set up a simple way for you to share it with us.
Otherwise, come ready to roll up your sleeves, work together, and designate someone on your team to take notes.
Who can join from our organization?
We limit attendance to three people to keep sessions focused and productive. Many Strategic Clarity Sessions take place with just one person from your leadership team in attendance.
Who from Prosper will be in the sessions?
Strategic Clarity Sessions are led by one of Prosper's principals, either Lindsay or Alyssa.
Can we record the sessions?
No, we don't record for confidentiality reasons. You are welcome to record on your end, and we recommend designating someone on your team to capture notes in real time.
Can we meet in person?
Strategic Clarity Sessions are virtual only. If you're looking for in-person support, visit our Strategic Planning page to learn more.
Will we get a written plan?
Strategic Clarity Sessions are working sessions. You'll leave with a concrete framework or roadmap, but the work happens together in real time rather than in a document we deliver afterward.
