Things You Should Know Before You Contact Prosper Strategies

We’re so thrilled you’re interested in reaching out to our team at Prosper Strategies, and we can’t wait to talk with you. Over the years, we’ve had the same questions come up many times from nonprofit leaders who are exploring working with us, so we figured we’d save everyone some time and answer some of the most frequently asked questions here. If you have other questions that aren’t answered here, feel free to reach out to hello@prosper-strategies.com. Serious new business inquiries may also reach out to lindsay@prosper-strategies.com.

Question: I’m starting a nonprofit. Can you help me?

Answer: Prosper Strategies offers a Strategic Planning Toolbox for startup nonprofits priced at $279. Outside of free resources and the Toolbox, we do not do consulting work with startup nonprofits. Our consulting engagements are all designed for established organizations. For startup services, we recommend Emily Davis Consulting.

Question: How much does it cost to work with Prosper Strategies?

Answer: If you wish to work with us on your strategic plan in a consulting capacity, services start at $35,000 for facilitation-oriented engagements and at $70,000 for full-service strategic planning. Pricing for facilitation and full-service strategic planning is customized based on your needs after a series of conversations with your team. For marketing and brand engagements, each project is highly customized and we provide a range of investment options after a series of conversations. The majority of our clients spend an average of between $50,000 and $150,000 per year with Prosper Strategies.

If you are an early stage organization interested in DIY strategic planning, you can still access our methodology, philosophy and strategic planning tools through our Strategic Planning Toolbox, which starts at $279. We also host bi-annual Strategic Planning Workshops, where we bring together leaders from various organizations, starting at $2,500 per leader.

Question: Do you respond to RFPs?

Answer: We don’t often respond to RFPs (at least not in the traditional way) at Prosper Strategies. Here’s why. That said, if you are moving forward with a RFP, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t reach out. Contact us, and we can discuss how to proceed.

Question: Do you have resources on fill in the blank here for nonprofits like mine?

Answer: Probably! Prosper Strategies has a vast library of resources on everything from crafting a mission statement to measuring impact. View our full resource library here.

Question: Can I get a proposal from you?

Answer: We’d be happy to discuss what you’re looking to accomplish and whether Prosper Strategies might be the right fit for your goals. We typically have several in-depth conversations to collaboratively shape working relationships with our prospective clients before putting any sort of engagement or investment options in front of them.

Question: I purchased one of the templates on your site and didn’t yet get the downloadable files.

Answer: Wait 30 minutes, and then check your spam. If your downloadable files haven’t arrived, you can reach out to alyssa@prosper-strategies.com.

Question: Are Alyssa and Lindsay available to speak?

Answer: Yes, we love speaking and facilitating workshops for nonprofit leaders and changemakers. Alyssa and Lindsay are available for keynotes, large and small group talks and capacity-building workshops and trainings. We speak regularly at nonprofit conferences such as Upswell, Cause Camp, and Classy Collaborative, and and facilitate customized trainings and workshops for nonprofits, foundations, and federated organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs of America.  Learn more about how to hire us to speak here.
