Top Email Tools: Management and Outreach

Tools that improve email productivity can boost your efficiency and effectiveness. Considering the amount of time we all spend on email, even small organizational changes or shortcuts can have big results.

Earlier this week we shared news alert tools to help you monitor local and industry news. Pair those alerts with these tools for managing your outreach and business relationships:

Boomerang for Gmail

If you use Gmail, this program will allow you to schedule an email to be sent later. And send yourself a timed reminder to deal with a message. And remind you if you never received an important response.

Basically, if you’ve ever struggled to keep track of the responses you need to send, or people you owe you a response, Boomerang can take a weight off your mind. Instead of scribbling notes to follow up on your calendar, just schedule a reminder in Boomerang.

Yesware

Yesware is a sales tool, but it can help you track any business emails. It allows you to create email templates and tracks message analytics, including who opened your emails and whether they followed the links inside. This tool also integrates with Salesforce. With this knowledge, you can build your outreach strategy based on what works for your audience.

Rapportive

Rapportive, a browser plugin for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Mailplane, lets you manage your business relationships from your Gmail inbox.  By displaying a contact’s job information, social profiles, profile picture and recent tweets right next to an email, this email tool helps you keep track of information you might otherwise spend time looking up.

Better yet, you can add notes to the contact. Did you tell someone you would make an introduction for them, or follow up at a later date? Jot down key details like where you met and how you want to collaborate in the future.

If you’ve been using a helpful email tool that we should try out, let us know in the comments!
